This story centers on Dog Man, a super hero. The first volume narrates how this hero was born: police officer Knight was patroling with his dog, Greg. There was a bomb explosion next to where they were, which seriously damaged the dog’s body and the police officer’s head. The doctors did an experimental surgery in order to save both lifes: putting the dog’s head on the police’s body, this is how Dog Man was born. Kinda weird? maybe.

The Dog Man series started in 2016 Dav Pilkey has released at least a new book for this series each year since then, so it is expected the there will be more Dog Man new books quite soon. In fact, according to the author there are two upcoming books in the series, one coming out in September 1, 2020, and the other in March 2, 2021. So, this series will be composed of ten volumes by then.
