The Guardians of Ga’hoole book series tell us about the owl kingdom, known as the Forest of Tyto, a place in which brave and wistful owls fight the forces of evil.

There are many threats to the peace of Tyto and its citizen. The first volume in the series centers on Soren, a young owl who gets captured together with his friend Gylfie, there’s only one way to escape from that place, but for this, they will have to learn to fly, a feat that seems impossible to them.

As said before, there is a movie based on this series, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, it was released in 2010 and was directed by Zack Snyder. You should give it a watch once you have finished the series.
