Is the Wheel of Time worth reading?
The worldbuilding in TWOT is just impressive, Robert Jordan created an intricated world and describes it with as many details as possible. The magic system is also worth to mention, the One Power is one of the most entertaining aspects of this series. Also, the characters are rich, even the villains, who have a logical motivation to perform their evil deeds.
This series is actually finished, which is great so you can start The Wheel of Time and know how it ends. For those who didn’t know, Robert Jordan died before he was able to finish this series, as a result, it was another writer (Brandon Sanderson) who finished his series based on all the annotations Robert Jordan had.
Should I read the prequel of Wheel of Time first?
Despite the fact that New Spring is a prequel, it is better if your read the book after reading the original series, this way you will understand it way better.
Some recommend to read this book after book 10, since its the one that was published before New Spring, and therefore that would be its publication order. Your choice. Of course, if you want to read the Wheel of Time books in chronological order, then you should read this book first.

Hello, just wanted to mention, I loved this series so thank you for providing this reading order
Wow, this series is longer than I expected, I better start reading these now, any box sets?
Thanks, I want to read these before Amazon releases their adaptation, I don’t want them to ruin my imagination!
Long ago I read this and I can’t believe I forgot it I remember some pieces all the time. The pandemic has given me more time And I am starting the series again and it makes great listening. I wish there was a book of artwork as a companion. I’m searching the web. The TV series had a low budget apparently. The props are so brand new looking they don’t fit the scenes like a high school play. It may get better I don’t know. I’d be lost without this listing.I’m starting book 3 and can’t wait to listen.
