Miss Peregrine books in order by Ransom Riggs

We didn’t forget about the recommendation we mentioned before! here goes the best Miss Peregrine book set we found out there, it collects the first 3 volumes in the series. Also, we included the film adaptation directed by Tim Burton in case you haven’t watched it yet (watch it after reading the novels though!)

The book covers could be quite misleading, so it may be worth mentioning that these books are not scary at all, it’s a ya fantasy story about children that have special powers.

Now that we told you the order for the Miss Peregrine books don’t miss these series

Not only the children are peculiar in the series, but these novels are kinda particular as well. Which means finding similar series to the Miss Peregrine books is no easy feat, however, we are confident you will find these novels very captivating:

Interesting suggestions don’t you think?

This is The Lunar Chronicles reading order, in case Cinder got your attention. It’s a retelling of the most popular fairy tales, so it’s a great way to revisit these stories.

Also, we included the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children book series in this list of books like The Giver, so you’ll find more great recommendations there.

What is this series about?

miss peregrine movie 2

This is the story of Jacob, a 16-year-old boy who finds out that the photo album his grandpa gave to him is more than a weird collection of the most peculiar pictures, but it seems to be a coded message that will make him travel to an island in Wales. There he will find an orphanage, in which Miss Peregrine takes care of the most unique children Jacob has ever seen…

As said before, Ransom Rigg’s initial idea was to make a picture book with some vernacular photographs he had collected. Instead, his publisher suggested he wrote a book in which those pictures would be part of the story. And there you have it, that’s how the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children series was born, and then it became a bestseller. Not bad, don’t you think?

There’s a movie adaptation of the first volume of the series, however, it was not as profitable as expected so the movie series was canceled. This happens quite often, in fact, this is the reason why there’s no I Am Number Four 2 movie as well.
